Rentmeister is proud to participate in this years Play Unplugged contest, a 7 month-long event gearing up on Memorial Day each year that encourages kids to trade their electronics for getting outside to play instead. Kids get to head out and be active while earning incentives called “Brag Badges.”
Brag Badges are dog-tag style collectibles connected to lanyards that are fun and colorful. Various businesses throughout the community take part in this event, and hand out these badges for activities including, but not limited to:
- Fishing
- Stargazing
- Hiking
- Hunting for Bugs
- Making Chalk Drawings
- And more!
Rentmeister hands out badges and lanyards as well in a sort of reverse-scavenger hunt style. Kids are encouraged to bring in an item they’ve made out of duct tape, for example, a flower, a wallet, etc… in exchange for this incentive.
