As of July 1, 2018, the only water heaters permitted to be sold in the state of Utah for either commercial or residential purposes are ultra low-Nox emissions water heaters.

The purpose of these low emissions water heaters it to protect the air quality in our communities.

Prices for new and replacement water heaters will now range from $200-$400 more than standard water heaters currently on the market.

If your water heater is aging or has been experiencing problems, we encourage you to replace the system now before the new law goes into effect, to help save you considerable money.
