Rentmeister Total Home Service is a family-owned company who specializes in installation and service Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC Systems.  We have been in business for over 50 years and are still growing! We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Warehouse/Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team! The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and is eager to contribute to the success of the Rentmeister Team. This is a physical labor job requiring the use of hand tools and machinery to build HVAC sheet metal/ ductwork and assist with the Warehouse duties. 

Full time . Hours are Mon-Fri from 7am to 5 pm with an hour lunch.
Pay $17.00-$22.00/hr. (Depending on skills and experience)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build ductwork and fittings

  • Use tools and machinery to bend, cut and shape duct/sheet metal

  • Pull, sort and stage parts and material 

  • Operate a forklift to load and unload various material and equipment

  • Be responsible for counting, verifying, and receiving incoming vendor shipments and customer return material.

  • Stock and maintain the warehouse

  • Deliver parts or material to job sites

 

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude and great attention to detail

  • Communicate clearly ,follow written and verbal directions

  • Organized and motivated

  • Prior sheet metal fabrication is preferred, but we will train the right person

  • Ability to do basic math skills, read and use a tape measure accurately

  • Have reliable transportation

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs

  • Must have a clean driving record (you may be operating a company vehicle)

  • Must have a clean background and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen. (Rentmeister is a private employer does not allow the possession or use of a Medical Marijuana Card)
