Apprentice Electrician

Rentmeister Total Home Service is currently accepting applications for an Apprentice Electrician. We are looking for an energetic, outgoing, team player who is knowledgeable in electrical systems for residential homes. You must be a third-year electrician or more in order to qualify. If you want to advance your career, then join a company that values growth, teamwork, and respect!

Responsibilities:

• Installs, troubleshoots and repairs electrical systems

• Bend pipe, pull wire, running conduit, install outlets and fixtures

• Use hand and power tools

• Read blueprints and wiring schematics

• Maintain workflow schedule to ensure productivity objectives are met

• Coordinate with other trades on site, works directly with Electrician Journeyman

• Responsible for keeping and maintaining a clean workspace

• Keeps the truck clean and stocked

• Willing to cross-train for HVAC or other departments

Requirements:

• Must be a third year apprentice or more. 

• State Licensed (Apprentice) 

• Must be familiar with updated NEC codes

• Must have all basic hand tools for electrical work

• Experience installing electrical systems in residential and commercial units

• Ability to troubleshoot equipment

• Reliable transportation with a good work ethic

• Ability to pass a drug screen/background check (Rentmeister does not Accept Medical Marijuana Cards)

• Clean driving record 

• Must live within 30 miles of our shop ( Syracuse, Utah)
