Position: HVAC Apprentice Installer
Full time, Mon-Fri, 40-50 hours/week
Pay $20.00-$30.00/hr DOE

Requirements for HVAC Apprentice Installers:
 

  • Must have at least one year of previous HVAC installation experience-Required

  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools 

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude.

  • Valid driver’s license and great driving record

  • Complete a background check and pre-employment drug screen (We do not accept Medical Marijuana Cards)

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

*Position requires frequent lifting and working in all types of weather*

Preferred Qualifications:

  • RMGA Certified

  • EPA Certified

  • Currently or willingness to attend HVAC trade school

Your HVAC Apprentice Installer responsibilities can include:
 

  • Assist  the journeyman with the installation of heating and cooling equipment (HVAC systems).

  • Ductwork Installation: Running supply and return ducting (metal or flex) throughout the building.

  • Equipment Setting: Positioning heavy equipment like furnaces, heat pumps, and air handlers in designated areas.

  • Refrigerant Lines & Drains: Installing copper line sets for air conditioning and PVC drain lines for condensation.

  • Ventilation & Exhaust: Installing vent pipes for gas units and, in some cases, bath fan exhaust vents.

  • Structural Coordination: Cutting holes through studs and joists for duct passage and sealing them for energy efficiency.

  • Use basic hand and power tools.

  • Work safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and company procedures.

  • Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials for job sites.

  • Help with site clean-up and ensure work areas are left tidy after installations.

  • Be comfortable working in all types of weather.
